Le Palme is comprised of 140 shuttered bungalows, set within the coastal resort of Forte Village in 25 hectares of lush tropical gardens, 45 kilometres south of Cagliari. All of the bungalows feature traditional Sardinian style decor with arched windows and doorways, exposed roof beams, wooden floors, and antique style furniture. Modern amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, Internet connections, safes, and minibars.
At Piazza Maria Luigia, the resort's social centre, guests can wander the arcades full of designer boutiques from Gucci to Bulgari, or simply relax with cocktails, watching the world go by and listening to live music. There are twelve bars scattered throughout the resort including the wine bars of the Piazza, as well as poolside and beach bars where guests can sample Normandy oysters in the Oyster Bar. The numerous dining options include fine dining by the sea, snacks by the pool, and a range of different cuisines including Italian, Sardinian, and Lebanese. Guests who love to dance can head for the Millennium nightclub in the evening, situated in the resort's Leisure Land area, which also offers go karting, ice skating and bowling. The hotel adjoins a spa which includes a Thalassotherapy centre with six seawater baths, a gym, Turkish bath, spa tub, and sauna; massage and beauty treatments are also available. The hotel also has a freshwater pool fitted with water chutes and water jets and the resort, a salt water pool with a separate children's pool and trampoline area. The Laguna pool, set on the seafront, is reserved for members of the mini club (ages 3 11, which also offers games, competitions, theatre shows, a specially designed restaurant, and a little train to reach Leisure Land. Guests can practise their serves on 12 tennis courts (seven are clay or play football on the full size floodlit pitch, the 8 a side pitch, or the three 5 a side pitches. The Forte Village has its own golf driving range and the resort's water sports programme includes sailing, water skiing, diving, jet skiing, and banana boats. Cagliari Airport is 45 kilometres from the hotel.
