Golden Villas consists of 26 modern villas and apartments built on the north slopes of Mount Dicti, just one kilometre from the town of Hersonissos. All are decorated in a traditional Greek style with dark wooden furniture, white walls and tiled flooring, and offer air conditioning units, televisions, safes and direct dial telephones. Balconies and terraces overlook the sea or mountains, and bathrooms include phones and bathrobes. The separate living rooms with kitchenettes equipped with refrigerators and coffee makers. Villas also have furnished terraces and freshwater pools, either private or shared between two three other villas.

For nightlife and shopping, the town of Hersonissos is just one kilometre away, and the excavations of the Minoan palace of Malia are five kilometres away. Golfers can enjoy the new 18 hole golf course at Hersonissos Mountain Golf Course at six kilometres distance. Heraklion Airport is 25 kilometres away and the approximate driving time is 25 minutes.
